If you would like to adopt from Jellybean Rattery, please begin the process by reading our Adoption Contract and make sure you are willing to abide by the terms before filling out the Adoption Application.

We will contact you upon receiving your application to finish the screening process and get to know you. We always try to find the best possible home and environment for our rats. Due to various reasons, not all applicants are a good fit and some are not selected.

Only pre-approved adopters will be able to place rats on hold, so we recommend submitting your application early so you can be placed on the wait list! We will not rush the approval process under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding!

-Pre-approval is required to be able to put rats on hold/purchase any rats. You can get pre-approved by completing the Adoption Application and sending photos of your setup(s).
-Rats must be adopted in pairs or more, regardless of if you already have rats. Rats must be housed in a minimum group of 3.
-Not all rats posted will be available to the public.
-You will be required to sign our Adoption Contract before any rats will be passed into your care.
-A non-refundable deposit is required to place any rats on hold.
-Delivery is an additional non-refundable cost dependent on distance, and must be paid in advance of our meetup date.
